welcome to another edition of the TWIG. I’m guessing that you;re looking forward to the weekend and that you have a plan or two for a new app or a new system Make sure you make it happen but get outside as well, geeks live longer with light. I found a pile of code I had written a couple of years ago and then lost. It was a nice find, a bit like another birthday party but also peppered with sighs. I say better IR systems are needed.
Without further ado…
chicken head /n./
[Commodore] The Commodore Business Machines logo, which strongly resembles a poultry part. Rendered in ASCII as `C=’. With the arguable exception of the Amiga (see amoeba), Commodore’s machines are notoriously crocky little bitty boxes (see also PETSCII). Thus, this usage may owe something to Philip K. Dick’s novel “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” (the basis for the movie “Blade Runner”; the novel is now sold under that title), in which a `chickenhead’ is a mutant with below-average intelligence.
Simon Yorke Turntables – wow, these are unbelievable. He deserves that URI.
Acoustic solid turntable – Indulge me! Even if you don;t own a single record you will want one of these I guarantee.
AquaTrax R-12 Muscle craft - these things are so fast and so much fun, please send…
Bugatti Espresso machine – a work of art in so many ways!
Mnemosyne Cube – the most expensive USB key on the planet but also the most fun I think…maybe…
