SEO is not necessarily an appropriate strategy for every website, and other Internet marketing strategies can be much more effective, depending on the site operator's goals.
It may generate a return on investment.

Hey Linda,

for sure I do. Twitter is an interesting beast because you do get out what you put in. I don't mean that if you tweet, people instantly tweet back. I mean that it starts before that even. You have to cultivate a community of followers (rather than just having followers) and that you need to ensure that it is of the highest quality. This is where the work begins. Tweeting is just the tip of the iceberg.

Here I list Twitter as a touch point, but I don't only refer to be active in that community and to social media, I also refer to the data stream. I just wanted to clarify that, a lot of people missed it so I didn't make it clear enough evidently.<!-- Touched by JuLiA -->

I just cannot seem to get any value out of Twitter. I interact with followers but most of it is one way i.e. deathly silence back from them. Everyone just seems to be there to plug their own products.
I wonder from time to time whether any one ever reads a word I say.
Do you think it's worth carrying on?<!-- Touched by JuLiA -->

Visibility Strategist (VS) should also include SEM strategies as well, no?

As SEM strategies aims to increase visibility.<!-- Touched by JuLiA -->
